I think it might have been Jay’s idea, but I felt moved to donate blood for the first time ever, in Becky’s memory, Valentines Day last year. Since then I’m a regular donor and I always wear my badge. And you are right. We get back far more than we give.

Great news about your getting over the hump on blood donations! It is easy, and so valuble. You may donate every 57 days, but if you donate platelets you may donate oftener. (ahem, more often.) Way to go Mepsy and Bear!
