I just hope you can be a little happier and friendlier to people along your way. If you could just do that, no one would ever let you leave their village or town! We were a bit overwhelmed by your whirling visit and departure, plus a little jealous of your journey.

I know you don’t really have much respect for John Steinbeck’s “Travel’s With Charlie,” but one of the best quotes for tourists and travelers to learn you already know from the book. To paraphrase: no matter how well you pack or plan your journey, you have no control once you leave home. You don’t take the trip, the trip takes you.

Your trip seems to be taking you on a serendipitous journey. Connecting with people here and there. Keep having fun and don’t worry about whatever else is happening in the world. When you get home, you’ll be a changed person as we all are after traveliing. I believe you’ll be an even better than before. Your family and friends will still love you even after your growth.
