Heya,

Been cold here in Ohio. It finally warmed up to 40 today and things are melting a little. We do not have icicles, we have ice columns.

Good luck with your porthole windows.

I thought as I was reading this...unbelievable. And then I wondered what your Mother would have thought. I concluded she would have been proud that the two of you are able to figure it out. It can't be easy. Enjoy your life!! Love, Adunties Mary Pat & Julia

It's strange how many people place appearances above function; it's not strange at all how often that results in failures.

We have been having the Great Lakes version of your weather. I had to walk to work in temps around zero F part of last week bundled up in great bulk and wearing a balaclava suitable for robbing banks. The temperature here has risen to twenty seven degrees, which would be cold where you are but is a great relief to me. I had to go help someone out of a ditch at 5 a.m. thanks to the snow, but I was surprised at how little it bothered me. I guess it's all about (a) what you're used to and (b) what you expect. Enjoy your 50s!
