Loretta and I noticed the dramatic change from Texas to Oklahoma as we returned to Ohio from Arizona in 2006. We were following the route of US 62. It leaves the High Plains of Texas in a long downgrade into Oklahoma, and everything changes at once right at the top of the downhill run.

We are enjoying your adventures. Thanks for the reminder of our trip.
