Incidentally, we followed Ohio State Route 7 along the Ohio River a long way one day.  Ohio has designated this as a &quot;Scenic Byway,&quot; but the Ohio is a working river.  Power plants and various other industrial operations make it less scenic than other river routes I have followed.]]></description>
