Alas! Those days are over. Anyone who wanted to go to D.C. for the dedication of the official statue of Mother Theodore Guerin, our foundress, recently canonized, could do so. I passed as I had lived there three years and needed no tours and drives to D.C. are over for me. Instead, Julia and I discussed the good ole days in D.C. back in ’55. A long time ago!The statue is now erected in a new garden next to the new Basilica in D.C. dedicated to the Im. Conception.It seems like lots is always going on around here. Julia is fine.
