I never had the Amish over for a visit, but I did see them in the area where I grew up. You might like to know that they often use gasoline for farm equipment and what not, depending on the specific kind of Amish they are. We did without TV for the bulk of my childhood, and I was fascinated with it when I got my first place. Eventually I got too much; I have a difficult time paying attention to it these days.

I appreciate your observing your world and passing it along. It broadens the world for the rest of us.

So glad you shared this day with your “blogmates”. We also were able to see 3 eagles that have come to nest along the creek in front of Mom’s house. Mike & I really enjoy having you 2 visit, especially on days like this. It makes our back country way of life even more special! Thank you both!!!!!
